Dumfries is an ideal base
from which to explore much of the South of Scotland, but is also home
to plenty of activities and attractions itself.
The region boasts over 30 golf courses, 4 of which are located within
approximately 2 miles from Abarglen. In addition to golfing, the area
is the perfect location to take part in shooting, fishing or walking.
Dumfries has many historical attractions. As the resting place of Robert Burns, the town has many links with Burns, including Robert Burns House, Mausoleum and the Robert Burns Centre.
